Hello,
I just wanted to share with you a couple of pictures from the walk for the Breast Cancer Awareness on October 11th. We had a good time as a family doing this, but it was pretty cold. It was amazing to see how many people showed up to walk for this disease. We were like the third group of people to start off. So that was really nice. Paul and the girls ended up going around the park(Liberty Park) just twice and then I ended up going around 4 times. I found out later that I ended up walking 8 miles, but it was all worth it. I only saw 3 other people with The Pampered Chef shirts on which was even more of an encouragement to me to keep going. I was exhausted later that day, but more so on Sunday. I could barely walk. It was really cold that morning, but I made sure the girls were covered. It started to sprinkle right as I crossed the finish line and by the time I got to the car it was pooring down rain. It was suppose to snow that morning. So I was happy that God waited till we finished the walk to let the blessings fall down on us. I'm still accepting donations for this disease until the end of the month because I haven't quite hit my goal. So let me know if you are interested and I will send you the link. I want to thank those of you that have donated to help me out so far to get to my goal. I will be donating half of what I make from my shows for the month of October as my contribution. I will be doing this again in the month of may because I enjoy being able to help out like this and raising money for a good cause. God Bless each of you!
