Wow, where do I begin? We had such a great Easter this year being able to be around family! I decided this year to have Easter at our house because of the room space and because I love to host and have people over. I invited 20 people over and 18 of them showed up so it was a lot of fun, but of course busy. We ended up coloring eggs on Friday night because I knew I would be way to busy to do it on saturday night preparing for the luncheon on sunday. Anyway, my mom and brother came over and we had a blast coloring eggs and watching a movie and having pizza. The bad part about that night was that Paul ended up taking Isabella to a 24hr. care place because we were thinking she had strep throat. It sorta snuck up on us after her nap time that day and by dinner time she was just miserable. The doc said she just had a small cold so we were happy with that and she was better by saturday afternoon. She didn't end up coloring eggs, but she smiled when she saw all the ones that were done. Saturday was a very busy day with last minute shopping from 9am till about 12pm and then off to a birthday party. One of Paul's Border Patrol friend's son was turning one and they invited us to go. We weren't planning on goin, but since we hadn't seen them in over 5yrs and they hadn't seen our family, we had to go for a couple of hours. We had a great time, but we were exhausted by the sun. I've never seen so many people(300) at one place for a birthday party. Then off to finish up more shopping and finally home by 7pm. Emilee was so excited to go to bed since she was going to wake up and it would be Easter. I couldn't find their Easter baskets so I ended up putting their stuff everywhere through out the house and they loved that! The big gift for the girls was their bed set for their bed's.(Princess of course) I also got them some outside toy's which was a big winner for them as well. I knew they would end up with lots of candy from other people so we decided to get them other things. The luncheon at our house was a winner. I can't believe how smooth it all went and how much fun everyone had. I made all the center pieces as well as the Easter treats. I made a ham that I put in the slow cooker during the night and it turned out great! The whole menu really came out great with everyone bringing something to help out. This was my first big get together and hopefully not the last, but Paul said he wanted me to take a couple of months off.=0) He knows that won't happen since I enjoy it so much! I hope you all had a great Eater as we did and hopefully it was spent with family or someone special. Happy Easter to all and God bless you! We love and miss each of you!=0)

- I am a mom of 3 and happily married to my best friend, Paul Malec. We have been married for 4yrs and counting. I met my husband at my home church in El Paso, Texas and haven't been able to keep my eyes off him since. I'm a stay at home mom of my 3 lovely kids whom God has blessed me with. My husband works full time for the government which can be interesting as each day comes and goes. We live in Utah and have been here since we got married in 2005. My hobbies are roller blading, love doing outdoor activities of all types, spending time with my kids and making them laugh, scrapbooking, reading Christian book novels on spare time, but most of all, watching movies with my husband on late friday nights in our own living room. We now have our pemanent home in Canutillo, Tx and we love it!
